Short Information :Supreme Court of India (SCI) has released the official notification No.F.21 (LC)/2025-SC (RC) for SCI Court Master (Shorthand) Recruitment 2025. The recruitment is for 30 vacancies. Candidates with Law Degree, English shorthand speed of 120 w.p.m., and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience can apply online from 30 August 2025 to 15 September 2025.   1.  The candidate must be a Law Graduate (before taking up the assignment as Law Clerk) having a Bachelor Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any School/College/University/Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate. 
  2.  The candidate studying in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of the Three-Year Law Course after graduation in any stream will also be eligible to apply, subject to furnishing proof of acquiring Law qualification before taking up the assignment as Law Clerkcum-Research Associate. 
  3. The candidate must have research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of computers, including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw etc  
  4.  Typing- Proficiency in Shorthand with a speed of 120w.p.m. in Shorthand (English).  
  5. Knowledge of computer operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on computer.

How to Fill Supreme Court Law Clerk Online Form 2025

  • Valid Email ID & Mobile Number: Candidates must have a valid personal Email ID and Mobile Number which should remain active for at least one year from the date of filling the form. All important communications like Application Number, Password, Admit Card details, etc. will be sent to the registered Email & Mobile Number. Candidates must ensure that emails are not redirected to the Spam/Junk folder.
  • Correct Details: Candidates should carefully fill in the online form with accurate details. Information can be edited before the final submission, but once submitted, the application cannot be edited or modified.
  • Step 1 – Registration: Register yourself by entering basic personal details and contact details. After successful registration, you will receive your User ID and Password on the registered Email ID and Mobile Number.
  • Step 2 – Login & Complete Application: Re-login using your User ID and Password. Fill in additional information such as:
    • Personal Details
    • Communication Details
    • Educational Qualifications
    • Preferred Test City
    • Declaration
  • Step 3 – Upload Documents: Upload required documents in the prescribed format including:
    • Recent Passport-size Photograph
    • Scanned Signature
    • Educational Certificates (LLB Degree / Final Year Proof)
    • Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
    • Other Supporting Certificates
  • Step 4 – Application Fee Payment: Pay the application fee of ₹500/- + Bank Charges online through the secure CCAvenue Payment Gateway using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, etc.
  • Step 5 – Final Submission: After successful payment, submit the application form. Take a printout of the filled application form for your record and keep your Application Number safe for future reference (Admit Card / Result login).
  • Important Note: Multiple applications will not be accepted. In case of multiple submissions, only the latest application will be considered. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
