| Short Information : | Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the official notification for IIT GATE 2026 Admission Online Form. Candidates interested in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, and Humanities PG Admissions can apply online from 25 August 2025 to 25 September 2025. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026) will be conducted in February 2026. IIT GATE 2026 : Documents Required
- Photograph: Good quality image of the candidate’s recent passport-size photograph as per official specifications.
- Signature: Good quality scanned image of the candidate’s signature conforming to the specifications.
- Valid Photo ID Proof: Scanned copy of a valid ID (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.) – The same ID (original) must be produced at the exam centre.
- Category Certificate: Scanned copy of SC / ST certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
- PWD Certificate: Scanned copy of UDID (preferred) / PwD Certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
- Dyslexia Certificate: Scanned copy of Dyslexic Certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
- Annexure(s): Relevant annexure(s), if applicable, in PDF format.

- Visit the official website: gate.iitg.ac.in.
- Click on “IIT GATE 2026 Registration” link and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process.
- Login using your credentials and select “Apply Online for GATE 2026”.
- Fill in personal details, academic qualifications, and GATE exam paper & centre preference carefully.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and required certificates as per specifications.
- Pay the GATE 2026 application fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Review all details before final submission – once submitted, changes may not be allowed.
